This postcard is based on a collage I made from materials given to me during my first quarantine of 2020, when I was unable to go thrifting. I sent out a plea for supplies and met some wonderful people who had stashes of maps and cards and magazines they were thrilled to put into the hands of an artist. Several of those people have become friends; an outcome I never would have dreamed of in these times of isolation.
As COVID rages on, we need to find new ways to foster a sense of connection with one another so our hearts don't feel imprisoned and alone. Sending a postcard is a lovely way to let someone know you're thinking of them and are glad they're in the world.
Postcard is 4x6 with a glossy front.
