What has enormous teeth and a gnarly divot in the center of its skull? Why, a porcupine, of course. Did you know that? I didn't either!! Such a strange looking skull deserved to be curated in thread. I found this illustration in a gem of a book called "The Vertebrate Skeleton," published in 1897.
I still maintain that every bookshelf deserves a good skull.
Single strand embroidery on cream cotton with a 5 inch hand painted wooden hoop.
